Man, this format is the toughest there is! each match your in has the potential to last for 5-6 hours, maybe 9 ball? but 8 ball really takes it out of you mentally and physically because of the patterns - you have to be so focussed.

What a tournement - the winner of this will have done a few miles round the tables by the time its finished!

good luck to the players today -

fatigue definately plaid a part n my match, i was ok up until the 3 hour point, after that i felt myself getting tired and the concentration slipped. Karl plaid well and blew me away in the last set, good luck to him against Van den berg, and all the brits left in - keep the money here please fellas!

Ossie

All being good, I'll be loading photos overnight tonight from this event, so they'll be available first thing Monday morning before the Semi Final stage.

Any reason why Jayson Shaw was a no-show yesterday?

hi there surprised at this but i was told he was stuck in traffic and couldn't make his start time for his match with imran therefore imran was given a 'walkover' result

Hi Johan, welcome to the Pro9 forums!

Drago played 4 sets in 1.5 hours.
Chamat and Diks are still going after 7 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

UNBELIEVABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't get scores from their table as they aren't updating the sheets or scoreboards, although I CAN tell you they have 2 sets each and 7 racks to 5 in the final set!

Won't be long now!

OMG.... Rico just missed an 8-ball for the match!!!

Play continues.......................

Dazzler screamed "YES!!!" and slapped his hand on the table with a huge whack as he won his match with "Arch Rival" Goran!!!

This was another table with difficult access to the scores!
