yes felt like slitting my throat but played poorly all day was 6-4 up tommy missed black 8ball and more or less snookered me jammy .... then 6-6 the mistake i made was a schoolboy error stupid witht eh easy finish anybody could want at 6-6! but from last 32 well done to him he was fortunate to beat karl boyes in qf but boyes only himself to blame at 8-7 down..but when on winning run things do go your way and the mans class and on a great run on the tour and fair play to him great achievement! dynamite [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2006-04-10 19:54 ]

Hi Dave, Yes mate I had it done a couple of years back and it's the best thing I have ever done. I had a flyer from the Lisbon club for you but wasn't good enough to make it through to Sunday and guess I missed you. Will you be in Colchester ..... on the Saturday of course

Hi Simmo,
Yes, I'm really looking forward to coming to Colchester on the Saturday, I had a great time at Northampton and it made me realise how much I've missed you all.
How was Portugal, and that great looking club?

!!! QUOTE !!! But I was actually interested to note that you're all having a highly successful season following laser eye surgery.
I obviously went to a back street surgeon. Don't ever go to Optimax! [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2006-04-10 23:41 ]

I counted 8 forfited matches on those sheets....4 of these were in the last round to qualify on the losers bracket!!!..........and i know of 3 more players that forfited half way through a match (so it doesnt show on the sheets) and one of them was on the winners side to qualify believe it or not!!...(that player that forfited went on to win the event lol)
This was down to the ridiculous waiting around between matches due to this event being held in a club with only 12 tables.
I qualified through the winners side (2 matches) my 1st match was at 4pm and my 2nd match finnished at 9pm. I believe the saturday finnished around 2am.

I played my first match at 1:20pm and lost - I then waited over 8 hours to play my next match!!. Eventually mine was the last match to finish and I qualified at around 2:15am!! Fair to say it was a tough weekend for all involved! [ This message was edited by: stox on 2006-04-11 11:06 ]

After a poor display against Andy Worthington I decided to go on the beer after which I had absolutely no idea what time it was until I decided to go to bed at 6.30 am!

Yeah, a great report there by Ben Moore. The only thing missing for me is Tommy Donlon's feelings on winning 3 in a row. I thought he was semi-retired! What vitamin tablets is he on - I want some [ This message was edited by: expertfluke on 2006-04-12 16:54 ]

having watched the pool from 11 am until the last ball was sunk i have to say it was a very enjoyable day, but i have to say the final was a little disapointing largely owing to the sarcastic remarks been made when raj would miss a shot

Had wondered what the atmosphere was all about after the final, was in the club at the time but in the bar area. Makes a bit more sense now.
