Shir, I'm flying back into London Heathrow that morning (6-7am/ 12 Aug). I can wait and pick you up since I'm also going to play in Harrow as well. Who knows, we're probably gonna be in the same terminal too. If this helps you, can you please let me know b4 Friday and I'll give you my mobile when I log back online. - Nigel

An important note to anybody flying to EPT Harrow - most airlines have banned all hand luggage on flights to the UK due to the big security scare earlier today. This means all cue will have to be packed in a suitcase, otherwise you will have to leave it behind.

Have you got your facts right alan?

The ban on hand luggage should make absolutely no difference. Cues have NEVER been allowed in the cabin and have always had to be checked in to the hold. They can be checked in as separate items (poss exatra cost) OR packed in a suitcase.

Cues were allowed in the cabin prior to the 9/11 attacks.

After that they had to be checked or packed in a suitcase.

@Riggers

Sorry, my mistake! I was stressing about the situation and for some reason was convinced that I only could check one piece of luggage in, but i realise that is not the case.

Dazzler / Mark - I'm not sure if Shir is the only one of our european friends that's booked on a flight into Heathrow in Saturday morning but I expect some others are too. Due to the current security situation there is every chance of a flight delay. If this happens would you switch the affected matches to a later time given the extenuiating circumstances?

Good question, hopefully there won't be any hiccups but there's bound to be some congestion from all the missed flights yesterday!
