I agree with rackrunner, Sir Daryl Peach has a ring to it. How about a petition started by Pro9 to be delivered to Downing St?
Well done Daryl, edge of seat stuff and the best player won in the end, you deserved it.

Well played Daryl, i don't know how you managed to hold your nerve but you did it. A great comeback from 15-12 down and some great pots when your heart must have been racing. Looking forward to hopefully playing the current World Champion on the new tour next year as it will be an honour. This has definitely put UK pool on the World map and those Americans better be quaking in their boots for the Mosconi. ----------------- Multiple winner of the Solihull Wednesday knockout competition. I always well up when sportsmen dedicate wins to their families. Big lump in my throat. Not only a great pool player but a gentleman too the way he praised Gomez. It was also great to see the crowd applauding and shaking Daryls hand too.

well done darryl peach, a credit to the sport and a deserved champion. Fantastic for the 9 ball scene in this country, lets hope this has the rugby and ashes effect on the younger kids of this country and more clubs across the land embrace the fact we have a world champion. What a player and what a man, and a place in the mosconi cup as well. Surely a knighthood is deserved

WOW! What a win!!! It was like Taylor v Davis final - loads of drama twists misses and flukes. Awesome to hold yourself together. Bet lesley and your mum's nerves are shattered!!! The turning point I think was rack 28 when he was 15-12 down and peachy won the safety battle. Some right safety shots in that game! Well done PAL!
