group 63 looks very interesting indeed

Boyzi and Ronnie in the same group along with Bustamante, Deuel and Quinten Hann

Looking forward to see who comes out of this group hopefully the matches will be on tv table.

I would have loved to have watched Hann's games. I can't believe he beat Manalo!

what is going on with eurosport !!!!!!!

first we have the situation we have already discussed about picture quality and not knowing which ball is which

then we have commentators who cant see or dont know what they are talking about im not sure which

now we have 3 hours footage where they show the same match twice

this is a great opportunity to showcase our sport and they are making a mess of it

I just wish the commentators would shut up so we can actually make use of the microphones on the players and listen to what they're saying!

Fair enough if the commentators are saying something interesting, but I can see for myself that;

"Ronnie's doing one of those little leg flip things as they do"

How embarressing!

The thing is though, that if the live coverage is on Eurosport 2, they replay it on Eurosport 1, simply because not everyone would have both channels, what I think anyway.

The audio got really annoying, for some reason, every single live production on Eurosport has annoying background noise which can confuse people on whether it is for the live match or not.

Roxton to be fair is doing ok, but Mark Wildman really needs to be replaced.

Not only does he not know when a ball goes in off the break, but he can't also pronounce player's names correctly.

What annoys me is the fact that some of these players don't know how to rack the balls.

There should be a DVD in the players pack they get with their tourcard which has a short video on how to rack the balls.

Mind you... we all sit here picking faults!

But it's better than nothing! Our sport is on tv! And it's live! and some of our guys are through!

To be honest, a tournament like this, the referees should be racking them.

Even though they do not seem like proper referees :)

yeh i agree! but I think they have a shortage of referees. I think the referee is overlooking both TV tables! I couldnt quite see whether there was two or not!

Danny's right, lets not moan, we should celebrate the fact we can actually watch The IPT as it happens over the course of a week. Also there's a good chance we might see another british player on the TV table, other than just Ronnie O'sullivan - darn it, now I'm complaining!!! ;-)

there is still no schedule of matches on IPT sites. Are they still sleeping or what's happened?

I do understand why Ronnie is on the tv table all the time though.

If you look at the i for the ipt listing, Ronnie O'Sullivan is mentioned. Ronnie is making a lot of people tune into pool! Ronnie is on the opening credits (i think)!

the ipt is brilliant for all us players but it will only continue if it is commercially viable and that needs viewing figures.

we are all dedicated and would sit and watch anyone play with ronald mcdonald commentating but others wont

thats my concern, the public - if they are watching - may not be for long if the coverage doesnt improve

Wise words Jedi, the IPT should take note of all the comments on these pool forums - they can only benefit from hearing everyone has got to say. I just hope its a success and long may it continue....
