Here goes, Group 1 - Lee Rigby Mark Hughes Jonathan Mathers Ian West Tables 7 & 8 Group 2 - Kevin Taylor Rob Jude Alan Millership Craig Hirst Tables 5 & 6 Group 3 - Adam Clarke Gareth Esprit Mark Taylor Jamie White Alex Kay Tables 9 & 10 Group 4 - Jonny Cooper Adam Stickles Phil Burford Simon D'vali Craig Riley Tables 11 & 12 Group 5 - Jason Devanny Dave Hopkin Roger Haddon Tony David Kev Simpson Tables 13 & 15 Group 6 - Courtney Symons Chris Buckmaster Rich Spencer Phil Morgan David Walsh Tables 14 & 16 Group 7 - Mick Hill Darren Randall Bartek Czapski Lawrence Folio Couzin Craig Osbourne Tables 18 & 20 Group 8 - Craig Dixon Lee Stacey Louis Clarke Neil Bodger Neil Raybone Tables 17 & 19 The tables were decided before the draw was done. I hadn't been to the club for a while and never realized until having a game that the tables in the front room have really gone down hill. This means that players in groups 1 & 2 need to make a decision. The only alternative i can think of is if you are not happy with them after a practice we can shorten all the group matches and get you on the first tables available in the back room. Your thoughts would be appreciated. [ This message was edited by: simmo77 on 2007-11-16 14:50 ]

probably race to 5 or 6 would be more sensible any way, with 5 per group one person is always waiting and that slows it up abit, so maybe with the issue with tables this might the right route to take?

Any complaints about the draw should be directed at the little blonde girl behind the bar, i think her name is Alex.
Be warned though "she will bite back"

Im happy to play on a poor table as it may reduce the other players in my group to my standard and therefore give me a fighting chance!!

If everyone is agreed then we will reduce the group matches to a race to 6.
All the players in groups 1 & 2 can have a knock and see if they can make do with the tables in the front room and if not jump on the first tables available in the back room.

I guess it's up to you but this is what happened in Solihull and I'm definately not in favour of it. The race should not be reduced after announcing the event IMO. 6 is too low for 9 ball and makes it a lottery.

Point taken Lee, it was only because i have realized 4 of the tables we will be using are not as good as the rest.
I have received no complaints from those using the tables in the front room though so we will continue as originally planned. Race to 7 in group stages then race to 9 for k/o

Anybody against the idea of race to 1 in the group stages and race to 2 in the k/o stages (alternate break)?

Kev, I haven't hit a single ball since July (my cue actually has dust on it!), any chance of a handicap?
