Give the guy a break for goodness sake !

- good players
- good club
- good pot
- good format

if any people cant make it through work they should work now instead of posting on here then free up some time to play next weekend..

Im going to practice with one of my mates at the weekend, il think il call it the world series of pool. Anyones free to join, couple of quid in and the winner gets free light and a pint. If its a success might do it every year!

Joking apart, I think this has the potential to be a great tournament if rescheduled. I dont honestly think it can be accepted as the official british am champs at the moment.

I think if done properly it could be a major success and get at least 40-50 entries. Could get a sponsor, possible coverage from cuesport tv, get it sanctioned by gb9 so its official.

so if u win u will call yourself the british amteture champ even tho there 12 runners ???

you could spoil the event before it starts !!!!! then again it is a women trying to run it, doomed from start.

run the event next year advertise it proper, ie gb9, cuesport tv etc as said in cuesacks post and the event will be a massive success

me thinks 9balldog and hustler think there in with a shout of pinching some easy money with how much they want this to go ahead !!!

striker shall we put our names back in and put a spanner in the works

why am i so negative about everything ?
what else am i negative about !!
i am only stating facts, how can u call a event with such small stature the british ameture championships when there are weekly comps in leeds that will have more runners !!

im not saying that the format isnt good cos it is, and 50 a man is some incentive BUT not with 12 runners.
if run properly u could get 32 / 48 EASY in the first year an would get bigger year after year,

the event would be worth winning then

We are still going to get around the 30 mark so anyone that cant make it, more fool them... You don't see them changing the date or name of the Worlds just because a few people can't get off work do you?
