Wow, how hard is Ronnie's group, he's going to have to really play well to come through this: Archer, Johnny Daulton, Shannon McKenna, Rob Immonen, Mika O'Sullivan, Ronnie Storm, Tom p.s. PC which site can you bet on individual matches like your doing? [ This message was edited by: cusack_147 on 2006-07-25 09:41 ]

Hello, Ok, sorry to Earl if he was using a Vortex, then. I don't know anything much about the Cuetec range so I didn't realise they had a shaft that looked like that. Thanks for sorting that out Danny!
Thanks, Chris.

very tough group but if ronnie can start making balls off the break hes a good enough cueist to come through, he looks as though hes been practicing for this event and generally chooses the correct patterns for 8 ball, big ask though

Can not give you a reason...may not!! so it is wishfull thinking!!! I really do not understand why he forfaited his match against Daryl..... then he would be in an easier group now!! ----------------- www.domocare.com Now great offer: Sunfish lots. Check it out! Hi Myra, I really hope Tom makes it too but what a tough group to have to qualify from! Sadly it looks like he hasn't played anywhere near his best yet and he'll need to play at that level today won't he! Good luck also to Daryl, Imran, Kim Davenport and Evgeny Stalev.

Ronnie O 9/2 to beat Immonen. OK - the iceman is probably favourite but this has got to be a good bet at those odds!

Carl Morris at 3/1 against Marcus Chamat isn't bad either, I would take that bet over Ronnie's.

Ok I just spotted something with Earl Strickland when I was watching back last nights game.
He isn't racking according to the IPT rules.
- He isn't putting the 1 up front
- He isn't placing them in a random order, he swapped solids for stripes and vice versa in his rows whilst racking!
Whats goin on eh?!

Every pro does it to be honest, some do it quicker so it appears they are doing it at random

was he using a premeditated order to take advantage of Miyuki not having much power on the break?
a nice even split of solids and stripes to pot away with?

He was certainly using an order. Thing is, she was breaking well, so whether he put the balls favourably for him if he was thinking she would come up dry, or whether he put the balls unfavourably for her, is something to consider.
