Double elim / Single elim or Groups? What's the prize breakdown if you get the 32 players?

For example if it's single elim 200 miles is a long way to travel for a tourney where you could be out after the first round. Equally if almost all the prize fund is going to the first 2 places it's not good value IMO.

I'd rather see a more even prize fund e.g. 600/300/150/100 (=£1600)

i see your point but your ticket is also a raffle ticket that can win you new cue or set of pro cup balls.......etc

i will have to stick to the format now

if i get 32 runners i WILL put in more £££££

I'm more interested in a pool tournament than a 500 mile round trip for a £50 raffle ticket!

Can't wait.....

I don't know who Morph is but I certainly go out of my way to support as many comps as possible. I also speak my mind without all the BS. Now, since you are obviously going to fill this place with lots of BS for a while I'll leave you to get on with it while I get some work done. Have a good time.

Mark, sorry if my post above was rather abrupt... just saying how I see it but in any case I obviously wish you well with the event.

thanks Mr Darkside........ and it is a pool tournament ! i will certainly loose money on this event as the green fees are higher than a normal comp and yes im making it fun for those who loose(which to be honest is quite a few of us, we cant all win) thwere is a kick back of a reffle. im sorry if this does nit suit all the players out there but i cant please you all

its this sat and there are a few more spaces!

Can't argue with that. Everyone knows the deal up front. Good luck with it.

(Edit - has the date moved? This now clashes with the Worlds qualifier in Mickeys)
