In a field like that Daz, with strong players right through the board i dont believe the pockets make too much difference to be honest.......top players very rarely miss balls anyway. As you said in your match its often the position that wins or loses matches with 2 "top" players....its a very fine line.

People go on about the top overseas players not having the best cue actions but i'll tell ya something.....they dont miss!

Stick in there Daz......you can get some table time under ya belt now on the left side of the draw.

Good luck to the other lads too......

Unlucky to the other boys.

Brilliant job!!!

There's actually a really tough field in the one-loss side.

After beating Allen Hopkins 11-7 and then Rodney Morris 11-5, Darren now faces Niels Feijen and then he'll have to face the winner of Santos Sambajon and Larry Nevel, and then he'll face Satoshi Kawabata!

...And now that Raj is on the "left wing" after wins over Dave Hemmah and Larry Nevel, he's playing Marlon Manalo, then he'll face Tony Robles, then he'll get to play Mika Immonen!

If they get through that little list there's still the possibility of Darren meeting Schmidt, Strickland, Wiseman, Williams and/or Petroni who are also in the same half on the one-loss-side.

Raj still has Archer and Bustamante in his half... AND THIS IS THE ONE-LOSS-SIDE???

Check it out yourself at the AZBilliards Brackets Page.

Is this really the one loss side.

WOW what a field.

Is the winners bracket finished. If so, WHO is in the hot seat?

C'mon the Brits!
