I might be not looking in the right place, but what is the entry fee for the tourney at Southfields? [ This message was edited by: Administrator on 2007-05-11 13:50 ]

I have never seen this before - the maximum time for each round is 45 mins - if match is incomplete then the player leading automatically wins - if it's a draw you toss a coin ?!?
With very short races to 5 this shouldn't be a problem, but if the final got bogged down I wouldn't be too happy at losing a potential £500 on a toss of a coin!
Prize money also dependant on 128 runners! Judging by turnout at recent tournaments I cannot really see that being achieved?

Rileys have been promoting this event around the other London Rileys clubs, and they are hoping this is a tournament for everyone, where even fun players will have a serious chance against the professionals.
They're doing pretty much everything right here - I hope this is the first of many, and if Rileys have a good response perhaps they'll get more interested in pool events?
It's definitely worth going, considering all the freebies!
A free poker tourney for players too (p.s. I came fourth at Rileys Victoria on my first poker tourney and picked up a handy £47 for my efforts!)

There IS an 18 certificate on this tournament I'm afraid... It says in the small print on the poster!

Question on parking... There is a controlled parking policy in Southfields, but I think it runs from Monday to Friday, does this mean we can park anywhere on the Sunday? Any locals on here who might know? ----------------- Chris @ Pro9

Good question about the parking chris, anybody got an answer to it?? Or anybody know where there is easy parking near to a tube station with easy access to southfields, skybluejim is a bit inexperienced where london transport is concerned!

I just spoke to the Rileys Southfields manager, Sarah Brady, and she's fairly sure there are no parking restrictions on Sundays, and that it is possible to park for free in the side streets surrounding the club. (Sarah's at the club on her own at the moment, so she will double check for us later).
