It's pretty good value... As far as I know your (5 star) hotel is paid for and your hotel too!
Can anyone else shed some light on this?

Apparently the hotel isn't paid, but I would still recommend this event to anyone really... It's a great chance to get into a great tournment, and even though I was wrong about the hotel being paid, it's still a terrific "once in a lifetime" opportunity to see the man-made miracle that is Dubai, and the Emirates, swim in the Arabian Sea, it's a real experience!

Why is the qualifier article advertising for the "2006" World 8 Ball Championships?
Not 2007 then??

This IS a qualifier for the 2006 WPA World 8 Ball Championships.
They're being held in a brilliant new sports complex and were originally scheduled to be held later than usual, then they were held over a bit more to avoid an IPT clash.

Thanks... Yep.. The two finalists earn a spot in the WPC 8-Ball... Hoping for Boyzi and Paddy but also for Brian.. But I'm afraid that Brian and Boyzi are gonna met each other in the semi... Assuming off course that they are gonna win everything until now..
