Erm... yes! Ronnie and Mark Williams look very good, would be surprised if it wasn't one of them come the end of the tourney.

Is there a law in Snooker that every final frame has to come right down to the wire??? What a final frame in the Hendry v Bond match, if you haven't seen it.... Down to the black with Nigel 7 points up, he pots it... But goes in off in the middle pocket!!!! Respotted black, Hendry lets Nigel in and he slots the black home for the 10-9 win, what a game! Yeah that was a tense final frame, Hendry had unscrewed his cue before Nigel potted the black and went in-off!! In some cuesports that would have counted as conceding the frame Nigel's in-off on the frame-ball green when he could have gone 8-3 up was bizarre as well! how bad was Bonds in-off?? how long has he been a pro? looked like an amateur. Hendry must be gutted to lose to such a donkey. Easy match for Dott now though.
p.s. whats the rule of 1st foul on the black loses the frame?

Shut it expertfluke!! Seriously though, although Hendry is a fellow Scot, I cant stand the guy. He is so damned arrogant, he deserved to get beat, I mean imagine unscrewing your cue before the black was potted, that is downright ignorance and bad sportsmanship. If he had done that in a local club, he would be wearing the cue! On saying that, I cant see my other fellow Scot, Graham Dott having any problems with Bond and should win comfortably.

Why doesn't Ronnie shake hands properly? It's beginning to bug me - he always offer his left hand upside down, what's all that about? I hate it when people don't shake properly - it's disrespectful and looks amateurish in my opinion- anyone know why he does that?

Reason 1: Because he is Ronnie.
Reason 2: Ronnie sprained his hand, maybe that has something to do with it, although it was a few weeks ago.

Didn't he unscrew his cue AFTER the black was potted but before he realised the cue ball was going in off? If so you could say that was a genuine mistake and he wasn't being ignorant.

No the cue was unscrewed before the black was potted before the re-spot.

I have to say the snooker has been absolutely fascinating this year... I really like the player profile stuff although in my opinion they shouldn't repeat all that stuff so much. So many shocking moments this year!
Anyone else "glued to the TV" for the snooker at the moment?

Every year Yeah they do tend to repeat a lot of segments from previous years. Also... Bring back Alan Hughes!!! The new MC has been awful for the last few tournaments, he tries to overdo his announcing which in turn means he messes a lot of the words he wants to say lol.

Yeah, that's quite funny - I noticed that too! Who is the commentator that sounds a bit like Steve Davis?
