I wish that I could be there, but unfortunately, I'm gonna have to miss out, although I'm hopeful to be able to make the first event(s) of the new tour, but in the mean time, I would like to wish everyone there the best of luck, and I hope that there is a very good turnout for the event Willie P.S. To those of you, who haven't been competeing in previous events, I would ask you to make the extra effort to show up and play in the event at Barnsley, to give support to the people, who are trying to create a tour that YOU, the players want, you owe it to yourselves to competeing again, and to become a part of making American Pool, a much stronger and more professional sport in the UK Once again, I would like to wish everyone the best of luck, and I am looking forward to reading the reports

Due to some unforseen circumstances at home... (something rather bad happened recently) I am unable to join up in barnsley, which really slurps, but its unwise for me to stray to far from home at the moment. Will all the information be available after the weekend as I m v.excited about the new tour. Good luck to everyone playing at the weekend, and roll on new era of Pool in the UK!

I doubt there will be many there in mid-afternoon. I certainly won't as I'm working. I'd like to get in for some practice at some point but can't be sure yet. I certainly expect to be there from 10pm onwards to start setting up the venue but not sure if I can get there earlier for practice. Will do my best.

Anyone arriving on Friday wanting to practice please ensure you have your Rileys membership card with you as the club is very strict on this. If you don't have it be prepared to pay a daily membership fee. Also, non-members will not be admitted after 11pm. Obviously membership cards are not required during the tournament as it is advertised as an open event. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2007-07-26 15:57 ]

well you know im there
i would urge all players who can get there to do so as this is starting to look like the best event this season and with the announcements about next season it could be the most important weekend for the future of our sport for years
