At the previous event the prize pot reached the dizzying heights of £1,430 and two players took home some well earned prize money. The first contestant, Jamie Brennan, earned £143 for potting one ball. Our second contestant, Ricky Hatherley, broke dry. Our third contestant, Mark "Cyclone" Collins took £129. So, there is still £1,159 in the pot to roll over to this month's event. We've sold over 450 more tickets taking the prize money, so far, up to EXACTLY £1,399. The draw will take place around 10 so cross your fingers if you have bought some of the 450 tickets we've sold so far. GOOD LUCK! ----------------- Authorised Pro9 forum advertiser/sponsor

FIRSTLY... JIM SMITH took advantage of getting the hand-racked ten-ball stack redone the full three times as he is rightfully permitted by the rules of the GB9 Ten Ball Break and Dish. To the very vocal support of a good crowd of fans and friends he gave the pack an almighty smack, but unfortunately, nothing could find a pocket despite the balls scattering well. SECOND TO GO... JAMIE BRENNAN has the rack redone twice before he settled down to break in front of the now raucous crowd of friends and foes alternatively cheering and jeering. Despite what looked like a slight stutter in his stroke, he hit the balls and they split admirably - a ball submerging into the depths almost immediately, and a second looking like it might go down to after a deliciously tantalising flirt with the pocket. Everyone could see it was going to be the end of the break though as the one ball was tied to the seven in an impossible to pot angle near the corner pocket, so Jamie took £151.90 (rounded up to the nearest pound) and was soon to be seen replaying the shot with a crowd of his friends who saw him perform the same feat at the previous event. FINALLY... PHIL WILDMAN took the stage for a crack at the remaining £1,350 and after looking like he was in two minds, he accepted the first rack - and sadly broke dry. So a good chunk of cash will roll over to the final event of the season. [ This message was edited by: BigDave on 2017-10-01 00:39 ]

Here'as the video of the three attempts... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=plzUQW6BCj0*The first rack is overexposed for some reason, and it's impossible to see the balls, but this is corrected by the start of the second attempt. Sorry about that.
