Not sure if this has already been raised (apologies if so), but what happens if you can't get a team out on a particular night?

For example, if we register a team of 4, but 2 can't make it, do we automatically forfeit all or some of the points?

What happens if someone decides halfway through the season they are no longer able to play, are we able to sub someone else in?

I appreciate this probably isn't an issue to the top teams, but for the guys (like my team) who are basically here to make up the numbers (and hopefully improve a bit too) its quite possible that we will struggle to get a full team every single week.

Would you consider a larger squad size at all (even if it involves paying a larger registration fee per team), seeing as only 3 people can play on any one night and there is a limitation on the number of pro's per team I can't see how this would disadvantage anyone, but it could mean fewer matches are cancelled. Any thoughts?

Thank you for the question. there is a maximum limit of three reserves allowed, however to be eligible to play they must already be a member of the leagues.

However you need to establish your three regular players and they must complete payment of weekly subs as required monthly.

Ie if you field a reserve you need to get your money for subs that week from them.

Also The rule on eligible players stands, so please be mindful of that.

Ah cool, so just to check I understand...

I can register 6 players, thus paying 6 registration fees and 3 x 20 per month, is that correct?

In terms of who physically pays presumably we can sort that out amongst ourselves so long as the team pays £150 in registration (assuming 6 players), plus £60 pm everything should be okay right (we won't have any pro's merely mentioned it in case anyone else was curious)?

if you register 6 people with the leagues it will cost £119.70.

Hi Tone,

How do the subs get paid to the league?

Would this be done via the website / paypal each week/month or do the subs get paid to rileys etc...

Cheers

Morning Paddy

Subs are paid via Standing order or Paypal. if using paypal there is a slightly higher fee to cover the costs associated with it. All details for these payments will be released to members around 4th January.

No point in doing it before as im sure your all busy enough with xmas and NY.

Thanks for the question

Can you tell me if SAPPA counts as one of the cuesports Top 64 type things that you have to declare.... The reason I ask is that you are automatically in the top 64 if you are a member because there are only 50 members! and to be honest there are only a handful of members that are of a pro / semi pro standard.

Look forward to your response.

Thanks for all the info Tony, it's looking like a great initiative - can't wait until it starts!

Could you tell me how many registrations you have taken so far for Rileys Southfields in SW London? And, just in case there aren't many there, how many you have taken for nearby venues (e.g. Shepherd's Bush, Victoria....)?

Rough estimates are fine - I'm just interested to see the likelihood of me having to change venue!

Thanks Shir!!

Am i right in thinking that if a venue is confirmed that it has enough players or do you get a refund if your venue is short?

Sorry OJD

but i simply just have to much on to be able to break down enquiries/applications by club.

If you find your club cannot get the required numbers you can either choose another club or get a refund.

AS for all the clubs listed these are clubs that have set aside a definate league night and are actively recruiting members. There are a few more to be added.

Hi Dan,

Just looked up your club, Theyve got 4 tables, so one of the smaller clubs, but feel free to get in touch with the manager - Paula O'Reilly on 01823 254627.

Let her know you want to lay from there and she will add your name to the team sheet thats on display.

Incidently have you thought whom is going to be in your team??

Hey BT,

Can you advise what your thoughts are around a club that may only get 12 (3 teams) people and a club that may get 40 people (10 teams).

Is there a plan on how many games each team will need to play to make it fair across the board for league (individual) standings?

Are you thinking about a ratio per team, the reason I ask is that if a team has 1 person who may only play one match and win, then that person would be on 100%. If you go from a total wins POV, then how will it work if one club has less teams than another club.....cant seem to think of a consitent sloution. Also if you work on a home and away basis (enev though in the same club) a club with only 3 teams would only play 6 matches (total) on that scenario, where as a club with 10 teams would play 20!....

Sorru if you have answered this somewhere, i cant seem to find it anyway, or on the website....wondered if you can help...

Cheers
P
