I have not had one yet! I didn't get an email last night All I want is a deffinitive start date, not one that keeps changing the night before. Would have been better to just say the league wont be starting untill start of march or something, rather than keep putting it back

It is not starting this week... Tony has been up all night trying to sort things out. Please be patient as he's doing the whole administration for the leagues alone! I know how I felt when I had to do it for GB9 and that was with less people and more people that I knew personally. He will be on today to announce something for sure....

Hi All
Sorry for the delay, emails are going out right now, albeit slowly, my server dos'nt seem to like sending that many in one hit!.
There will be about a dozen people not get the email as i still don't have your correct details (ph, just updating yours now).
Please, out of fairness to those who have registered, do not reply to these emails on pro9 today, if you have feedback please email or ring/text me.
I will post the contents of the email, late tonight on here. Sorry to sound cloak and dagger, i just would like to let those who have taken the time to register, first chance to respond.

Hi all Thank you for being patient, ok here is the news that members got yesterday. Due to the demographic break up of applicants (406 as of today) it was not possible to offer every member the opportunity to play in a team format. Therefore, it has been decided to change the format to singles instead. The prize monies will remain the same at £25,000 but will be paid over all three periods and an accumulative bonus at the end of the season. Full details are being entered onto our website today (so if you have trouble logging in, its just us updating the information on there!) Applications will be allowed throughout the season, however if you wish to take up Rileys offer it will only be available until Saturday 6th Feb midnight. All clubs will commence their leagues week beginning 15th february. Full details on website by end of the day, if you would like to ask a question please email me at bigtone@gb9leagues.info Big Tone

Hi All Please can anyone advise, What is the score now with anyone who is pro, top 32 or 64 or on the tour etc... As per your original set up these players were unable to participate in winning any prize money other than the team event, which is now no longer in play....are these players allowed to play in the new sinlges league set up and impact the format/prize fund etc....as you say this league is to be for driving the amateures / grassroots...... Also can you advise about the the GB9 50% tour fees that was also mentioned originally....I have checked the GB9 league website and there is nothing clarifiying the above questions... Please can you advise on this guys Thanks [ This message was edited by: Paddymoffet on 2010-02-06 00:30 ]

Hi Paddy
Same restrictions as before, please help us out with your next question??
are you referring to the qualifying spots?? (which would of been 50%)??
PM me for a full response and i'll add it to the new FAQ page on the website.
Cheers

I've been asked to clarify, who is eligible to play in GB9 Leagues.
Well the answer is everyone, however the are some restrictions on certain groups of players.
If you are registered in the last 2 years on a national/professional cue-sport tour ie GB 9 Ball Tour/ EPA/ Snooker etc and are ranked in the top 32 (snooker top 64) as of Dec 1st 2009 or have represented England in the last 5 years at a cue-sport, you are not eligible to earn points to qualify for the prize fund.
However you are able to play and benefit from the team discount offer from Rileys.
