Hi everyone,
Just read all the postings and tell me if im wrong on this but it seems from a London point of view no clubs have been offically registered. So why not ask Shepherds Bush. Also is the GB9 league still taking in names and payments.
Thanks

Thanks I'm still waiting to find out if Rileys Victoria is in - Tony kind of hinted that they were but no confirmation as yet

Good Evening All
Rileys are committed to the development of 9 ball in the UK, and as a thank you for your patience have worked out a deal for all members who wish to play in the GB9 Leagues.
Starting today and until midnight on Saturday January 29th, If you register (for those that have registered and paid up - bear with me) for the GB9 Leagues, They will pay your membership fees for the year and offer you the team discount package!.
This includes:
Free annual GB9 League membership 50% off your table times (free on match nights) 20% off your bar and food bills Free annual Rileys membership Free after match food Free League T Shirt
To qualify just log onto www.gb9leagues.com click individual members and sign up (when at the registration, make sure you select annual league). Once registered you will be directed to a paypal page. complete the £19.95 payment for membership and GB9 Leagues will convert the payment into a Subs payment. This means that for just £5 a week you will get all of the above as of Monday February 1st.
If you have already paid your £19.95, not to worry Rileys will honour all existing memberships too. So any payment made will be converted by GB9 Leagues into your 1st subs payment.
If you have selected the Joint membership and paid £34.95, the above applies and you will be contacted on Sunday 30th January re the County structure.
So for those that have paid already - congratulations your already in with a chance to make some good money and for those thinking about it, well, what more of an incentive could you ask for!!
Assuring you of our best intentions at all times.

can I clarify something. Is it a team of 3 plus 1 reserve making 4 or can a team just be 2. reason I ask is that I have 1 serious playing partner not 2 if that makes sense.

Its a 3 man team, plus reserves. However im glad you mentioned it. only the three main players of the team are eligible for Rileys to pay their membership. Reserves will have to pay, although they will still get the same other benefits.
Thanks

Lesty - I've registered at Southfields but there doesn't seem to be much uptake there at present, so there's an option for you (and others please!). If we don't get enough, I'll probably switch to Shepherds Bush or less likely Victoria (as I don't fancy Sundays).
Tony - you mention above that registered members should have received the press release by email earlier than above's post, but I haven't received anything, nor any passwords to register our team. I've signed up on the website, sent the forms over and paid the fees for all four of us, but obviously can't register the team without access to the team bit on the website.

"A prize fund of approximately £25,000 is up for grabs in the leagues and Approximately £15,000 in the County (Regional Finals). Prize monies are paid throughout the leagues right down to the last 64"!Tone is any of the prize money listed on the website guaranteed or is it all subject to entries? ----------------- Money won is twice as sweet as money earned [ This message was edited by: contrakid on 2010-01-19 10:04 ]

Thanks BigTone for the info, do you know when Rileys Shepherds bush will start thier GB9 Leagues in terms of time and date.
Free after match food, will it be snack stuff like a small sausage on a stick or will it be full on proper food.
Free League T Shirt, what are the sizes and colours.
Thanks BigTone, and keep up the good work

Hi a fair few of you have sent me personal emails, to which ive replied, but when filling out your forms they have had errors in the email addresses. I had about thirty emails returned yesterday because of this. These forms are compiled into a database and you are are e-mailed from there. PLEASE. would everyone take care filling out the forms correctly and in FULL. please appreciate i cannot manually go and check each and everyones paperwork. When registration finishes (sat 29th) i will use the sunday to process the applications. Any errors at that stage and i'll be in touch to resolve. Big Tone

Once we begin all prize money is guaranteed. The money is held in a seperate account which requires three parties (Me, Accountant and Rileys) to withdraw on. Big Tone
