SUNDAY GOLDEN – THE ROAD TO ST ALBANS
I hope you saw the title for this email… yes that’s right after 4 very successful years of running Saturday events, T9B are now in a position to offer SUNDAY comps at various clubs in the South. This is great news for all players as its extra comps for our regular players but also means those of you itching to play but can’t due to work commitments Saturdays now have the opportunity to compete in some of the best events in the UK.
We are now half way through our 2013/14 Amateur and again it has this far been a massive success, with new sponsors on board enhancing opportunities for Total9ball players.
This new Sunday series looks to be a cracker. Mark Parker and Phil Wildman have been working very hard behind the scenes to provide you the players with a new 4 event series and a Grand Final at the end. Although we feel we have already created the best format to hit the UK (2x double chance) in this series we have not only decided to mix up the formats but also the way players can qualify for the Grand Finals to keep everyone in with a chance at each of the four qualifying events and also the venues.
So here we go… below are the details
Event 4 – Sunday 30th November – Hurricane Room High Wycombe – 10ball – Last Chance Swiss system (2 Lives each)
Grand Finals - Sunday 14th December – Hurricane Room St Albans – Vote 9/10 ball (all qualifiers) How many times will you be in the last 32?
The above events have been designed to guarantee each player a minimum of 2 matches per event, the entry fees have been kept low to offer value for money while still maintaining a decent prize fund for each event and the Grand Final.
How can you reach the Grand Finals?
Total9ball would normally use a ranking system to decide qualification for the Grand Finals however these events will be different. Any player who reaches the Quarter Final stages of any of the above 4 events will qualify. Therefore this means one player could qualify for the Grand Finals four times, effectively giving them 4 shots at the main prize. It also means players that can only attend a couple of events can still qualify for the Grand Finals all be it with less lives.
The Grand Final will be topped up with players if needed. Players will be offered spaces from a random draw and will be offered to players who have attended the most events first.

Entry Fees including admin fees (Members) £30
Entry Fees including admin fees (Non-members) £35
Grand Final (Seperate entry)
Entry fee including admin fees (Members) £40
Entry fee including admin fees (Non-Members) £45
****MEMBERS OFFER**** sign up for all 4 qualifying events for a one off discounted payment of £100, non-members can now become members for a mid-season reduced price of £20 and take advantage of this offer as well as receive £5 off all other T9B events until the end of 2014.
These events are pay in advance only!!!!
Side Events
There is always a side event at each T9B event whether it’s the roll up Break dish, a one rack shootout or speed pool its always great fun. (entry to these events are separate from the main entry fee)
Handicaps
Platinum players -4 and -3 (Advancing to -5 if dominating)
Gold Players -2
Silver Players -1
Bronze players 0, +1, +2 and +2*
**First Event players will get put off of a average handicap of -1, unless known ability then we will try and get as accurate as possible straight away**
Handicaps will be changed by T9B if its felt a player is dominating events. Players who feel there handicap is to high can appeal to T9B for a reduction by emailing

Framed Photos - Any photos that are taken through-out the day can be framed and purchased any size up to a3 for £6 or 2 for £10. Or if you would like a certain pose/image this can be taken during the day on an un-used table. These will ready for the following event.
