Total9Ball

Total9Ball

Event 1 of the first Totalblackball series is nearly here. Event 1 will be held at Southend Rileys on Sunday 12th January.

This is our first Blackball pool event. We have previously ran over 40 successful 9ball events and due to popular demand we are now offering blackball events.

The format used for this series will be the 2x double chance format, Double chance events have proved to be very popular. It offers the players great value for money and a challenge to become the first 2x Champion. The event also has a Jackpot pot that will increase in value at each event until its won. Totalblackball gives players of all standards the opportunity to compete in professionally run Blackball pool events using one of the most fresh and exciting formats to ever hit the UK pool scene. These events are simply not to be missed!!

For anyone new to the 2x double chance format here is some info.

Totalblackball double chance events seem to be the most popular format we use, we believe the reason behind this is because it offers unbeatable value, players are entered into the draw twice which means a players can lose a match but still be the overall winner of the tournament, it guarantees each player a minimum of two tense knock-out matches and also means each entrance has the opportunity to get in the prize money twice. Feedback regarding these event has always been brilliant and therefore we feel using this format is the way to get the most players involved. Win all your matches and you can collect the Winners and Runners up and The Jackpot prize money... a very nice days work. A beautiful glass trophy is awarded to the winner of each event and also to the overall winner of the rankings after the five event series.

Side Events

The break dish pot will increase at each event until somebody drawn at random clears the table. Entry to the break dish will be £1 per raffle ticket, money will also be collected from the standard entry fee to boost the prize. All money collected will be paid out. After the first round of matches in the main event, two tickets will be drawn at random, the first player drawn will have the opportunity to break and dish the balls to take the pot. If unsuccessful the second player will get the opportunity, if the second player also fails the pot will roll over to the following event.

Rules

**The player must nominate a colour ball before breaking and also a pocket for the black, the player must then pot from the break and clear all of his/her nominated colour followed by the black into the nominated pocket to scoop the prize pot.
**Any foul is end of chance

The Totalblackball Series will begin on Sunday 12th January 2014, This will be event 1 of a 5 event series. There will also be a Grand Final at the end of the season. Each event will be held at various venues with matches beginning at 10am sharp. That's a good idea - will they welcome someone handing out flyers to tournaments?

I tried spamming this online with some 8-Ball themed Facebook Groups etc, so I'm not sure why this didn't get enough support - does anyone else have ideas where we could improve the uptake?
