It's hard to see anything new coming up in this, just lots of chat about snooker - actually I'd really like Ronnie to talk about his running and other interests too!

Eurosport has worked a treat here with The Ronnie O’Sullivan Show…inspired idea. I believe it will work extremely well as Ronnie acts a lot more personable these days. I’m guessing a little that despite his superior ability the other players will welcome being interviewed (informally) by him. I think they recognise that he truly is needed for the game, someone for all the top 16 to gun for. This of course will be no mean feat, but will keep us all interested and transfixed throughout the season as Ronnie takes to the stage at whatever tournament he sees fit to play in. This of course is his own prerogative for having practiced his skills to the level he executes them at. The other players glibly agree with the uninformed media that Ronnie is somehow a ‘Genius?’ They know fine well this must go to the bathroom Ronnie off for all the hard work and dedication he has put in. IMO he is a master of his craft and his true talent (not genius) is having the ability to dedicate an ethos to hone his skills in practice, no doubts with lots of mechanisms for motivation, his father ‘s situation and how he dealt with it as an example and I am sure he has many more. I’m really looking forward to his master classes on cueing and related techniques etc. If they can extend these sections beyond the very basic and short shrift BBC examples Steve & Ken roll out annually at the Crucible, we truly will have a snooker and cuesport enthusiast’s show. I myself play 9-ball pool but can’t help marvel at Ronnie’s excellence. This post I can see is a ridiculous length when we consider that Dave’s question (author) asked quite rightly, how will Ronnie fair as a host. Brilliantly… he is the business, the top boy as Danny Dyer might say.
