This site was started a few years ago to keep the American Pool players informed about their favourite sport, which in its day, was 9 Ball Pool. Now we can talk about 8 Ball and 10 ball and rightly so since most of us play at least one of these disciplines. Big Dave has been responsible for bringing the site into the 21st century and it is now one of the most up to date, informative and interesting sites about pool that exist. When I log onto my computer each day, the first site I open is Pro 9. I am concerned that we are talking too much about snooker these days and looking at the new INDUSTRY NEWS section, it starts of with snooker as its main subject. Is this the place to talk about another sport? or should we concentrate on what brought us to this site in the first place. There is plenty of news about regarding American Pool. Rather ironically I have moved this post into our snooker forum - ho ho - but I would love to hear everyone's thoughts about this too!

Surely it cant do any harm to have snooker aswell? Its not like its replacing the pool content, just running along side it... Keeps us up to date...

think ur being a bit disrepectful here dicky! whats wrong wiv this when the band contains one of hollands best ever pool players and who has been in england now for a few years, played in numerous tour events.......rico diks

I don't see you complaining about the other topics like stand up, poker, football or UFC?
That's why we have a non-pool section on pro9...
So we can dicuss other stuff like for example a band with a great poolplayer in it.
PS didn't you start a football related topic somewhere in the past? Nobody complained about that?
