Just a very brief update in addition to my earlier post in this thread. Although as an organisation GB9 is reluctant to participate in a discussion via this thread, we do feel it is important to communicate to our members and others the fact that we are giving very careful consideration to the developments presented by the GBPA.
At this point in time we have contacted David Morris and David has very kindly forwarded the intentions of this Association for 2010 and 2011, for our consideration as a committee. We will be looking at this very carefully over the next few days, and will seek any clarification that we feel is necessary from the GBPA.
We will make a fuller statement regarding this as soon as we possibly can. In the meantime we would ask any GB9 members or other GB pool players to provide feedback regarding these developments to us using our feedback e-mail address. Of course as a players' organisation we will always take such views into account, in ensuring that we put the interests of GB9 members and other British pool players first and foremost in any of our actions.
