I'm looking for some sets for £50 or £100 if anyone is interested in coming to Barnsley for practice. Race to 21, 9 or 10 ball (10 ball preferred). Weight considered if I know your standard. [ This message was edited by: Riggers on 2011-03-31 08:43 ]

think you will be lucky reading through all threads sounds like most players with the same ability as you maybe afraid to play you at your place by the sounds of it.. for me someone that likes playing money matches should be willing to play anywhere as long as the venue is decent which it is might have to nick a cue of si then have a hours practice and kick your butt hahah just my opinion and wishful thinking lol..to be honest i would have thought quite a few players would have been lining up to play ,,

ive already said i will play 9 10 ball on the diamond at barnsley, even though ive played it once
you find it hard to get games on the diamond seen as you practice on it all the time and know it inside out, hard table to play if your just a 9 baller and never played it
cant understand why most players wont take you up on the offer of similar ability, after all its just good match practice

how the players have changed over the years i remember going all over with our andy he would play anywhere to get a game same with darren you would think players that like playing for money would jump at the chance of a game so maybe they do want things there own way all the time these days shame really,,, [ This message was edited by: tonyponty on 2011-03-31 14:10 ]

haha Tony - would love to have a few racks against you pal and will give an appropriate start. As you know I often play in Vegas bar mainly because most of the players there don't travel in my experience so I have no choice if I want a money match locally. But I agree, Barnsley a great club with a superb table (thanks to Darren) and many people in the UK can only dream of playing on a table like that. The diamond is not hard to play on especially for someone like you Eric. It's so true and runs so consistently that most people adapt very quickly. The pockets play about the same size as GB9 though GB9 sometimes plays a bit bigger only because the cloth is usually newer. This table certainly favours the better cueist and you are clearly a much better cueist than me so for that reason I think you are still probably a 60/40 fav even on the Diamond. I'll happily play you a race to 21 at 10 ball for £50 because it's very good practise. Just give me a date and time and I'll see if the table is available. am sure many players will come to barnsley n play a few good sets, cant see why not, many players same standard or nothing much in them, its defo a table you need a few hours on though to try n adapt after practicin on tables with bigger holes lol, wouldnt mind playin a game on there against a player who is in my situation with the table, not much time on it,maybe have a few good sets against ben or chris hall on it

I've played you at Vegas bar Andy so don't want to repeat that - that's not for debate anymore. I've already said I'll play you at Barnsley for £100 or £1K or anywhere in between but you said you would not play me on the Diamond. I don't want a long debate here, am just looking for some sets - just yes or no will do.
