There aren't too many European tournaments that can boast of such a high pedigree (former winners include Rico Diks, Michael Schmidt, Niels Feijen, Alex Lely, Brian Beekers and Nick van den Berg) and brilliant longevity too as the Groningen Open is now in it's 13th year, and planning to be bigger and better than ever, it even has it's own website available in German, Dutch and English too.

And the winner is: Christian Reimering.

Reimering cashes the envelop with € 1500,- after defeating two times winner, Nick van den Berg in the final with 10 - 6.
