"Pool Ace" was the winner of the Fourth Heat of The Cambridge Online Poker Championship on Sunday 30th April 2006.
The rest of the the remaining six heats will continue to be played out over a course of the year through to the online Grand Final in November 2006.
The prize fund for the Grand Final is a fantastic $5,000.

"Pool Ace" aka Tony Gear is thrilled to have won a seat on the $5,000 Grand Final Table.
Yes, it was none other than Pro9.co.uk regular Tony Gear who beat us all at the most recent on-line poker event hosted as ever by www.mickeyflynnspoker.com in April.
Tony is thrilled to have won and said, "It was quite a tough competition, I think there were about 27 or 28 people in it, and it wasn't going too well at the start. I managed to pull through to the final table and once I got there, basically, I think I got lucky with the cards in the end and it was really great I got to win it."
It's clear to see that "Pool Ace" didn't lead the tournament all the way,
but played a very good end-game to become the eventual winner.
Tony has not only won the cash prize from the qualifier but is also guaranteed a share of the $5,000 on offer at the "everyone's a winner" style Grand Final Table.
He said, "I tried to qualify once before, but I got knocked out and finished about 16th and I thought it was going to be really difficult to get through to the final."
