County Mayo Venue Hosts 2007 European Nations Cup
Ireland’s American Cue-Sport Federation are proud to announce they have won the right and have been accepted by the European Pocket Billiard Federation to stage the first ever European Nations Cup, taking place on the Emerald Isle from Tuesday 13th to Sunday 18th November 2007.
Without doubt this is one of the biggest pool events ever to take place in this country when a host of the World's top 9ball pool players, never mind Europe will be representing their country in the beautiful West of Ireland town.
Full details of this prestigious event will be announced shortly but in the meantime Ireland’s American 8 & 9 Ball Pool Tour's organiser Ronnie Boyle has already received clarification that Setanta Sports will be covering the event, plus Ronnie will be trying to secure other TV companies for this great Irish occasion.

Ireland’s Pro-Am & Team Selection:
Information regarding the European Pro-Am Event for Irish players and team selection will be advertised and announced in the next few days.
Venue:
The 2007 European Nations Cup will be staged at the T F Royal Hotel, Castlebar, Co. Mayo, Rep of Ireland.
Dates:
Tuesday 13th -------Sunday 18th November 2007.
Teams:
The European Nations Cup teams will consist of men’s and ladies categories with the men’s being 3-aside and the ladies 2-aside with all European teams picked by each country's National Federation.
Prize-Money:
Prize-money in both events is still not confirmed yet by the EPBF but the men’s event will have 20,000 Euros or more prize-money up for grabs.
Pool Tables, Cloth & Balls:
The EPBF will be using 8 Dynamic 9 foot pool tables, Simonis 860 cloth and Aramith Super Pro Cup balls.
