OB Cues is the Official Cue of three ESPN Special Events
OB Cues is proud to announce that they will be the Official Cue of the INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE OF CHAMPIONS, the INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS and the WORLD CUP OF TRICK SHOTS held from October 23 – 25 at Mohegan Sun, Uncasville, CT.
These three events will be filmed in HD for later broadcast on ESPN/ESPN2 with the first air date scheduled for December 9th. “We are very excited to be a part of these top-rated special events” said Shane Sinnott, Director of Sales & Marketing for OB Cues “Supporting the sport while also getting national TV exposure on ESPN is a win-win for Pool and OB Cues and we look forward to our new TV commercial debuting in the USA for the first time during these events”.

On October 23 the INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE OF CHAMPIONS includes top stars in the sport. Darren Appleton, from England, returns to defend his crown as 2011 Champion of Champions. Jung Lin Chang, 2012 World 8-Ball Champion, will represent Taiwan. Shane Van Boening, 2012 Players Championship Champion, will represent the USA. Dennis Orcollo, 2012 US Open 10-Ball Champion, will represent the Philippines.
On October 24 the INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS presents the top Women players in the world. Ga Young Kim, from South Korea, returns to defend her crown as 2010-2011 Champion of Champions. Allison Fisher, 2012 US Open 9-Ball Champion, will represent England. Karen Corr, 2012 BCA Hall of Fame inductee, will represent Ireland. Jasmin Ouschan, 2011 Masters 9-Ball Champion, will represent Austria.
On October 25 the WORLD CUP OF TRICK SHOTS will present Team USA vs. Team Europe, with eight international stars contending for the Gold Medal. Andy Segal, 2012 World Trick Shot Champion, will captain Team USA. Nick Nikolaidis, 2012 World Trick Shot Runner-up, will captain Team Europe. Team USA also includes champions Bruce Barthelette, Mike Dechaine and Jamey Gray. Team Europe includes champions Luke Szywala, Florian Kohler and Gabriel Visiou.
Mohegan Sun, the host site, will make all three events ADMISSION FREE to pool fans. On Tuesday, October 23, the three matches for the INTERNATIONAL CHALLENGE OF CHAMPIONS will begin at 3PM. On Wednesday, October 24, the three matches for the INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT OF CHAMPIONS will begin at 3PM. On Thursday, October 25, the three matches for the WORLD CUP OF TRICK SHOTS will begin at 3PM. The events will be held in the Wolf Den at Mohegan Sun and those attending must be 21 years of age or older. Those attending should arrive early for each tournament session.
