Roll On Golden 8 Ball
There's nothing like being prepared, and Rob Pearce seems to be excelling in that department, already announcing full details for the third edition of the Golden 8 Ball tournament - slated for June 2013, and once again returning to the Norbreck Castle Hotel in Blackpool.
Event Organiser and creator Rob Pearce stated; “The Golden 8 Ball tournament positions itself as a prestigious pool competition which aims to provide the best possible playing conditions, coupled with a bit of wow factor!
“We’re an independent tournament that is open to any pool player, regardless of any associations, governing bodies or organisations that they may belong to.
“Having been bowled over and inspired by the spectacular ‘Grand National’ tournament in France, I wanted to create a similar event that makes our players feel special.
“We may be way off anything like the Grand National as yet, but it’s a start in the right direction and it will always remain my vision.”
Enjoyment is certainly what this weekend is all about, and with an even bigger guaranteed prize fund this year, there's already something to shout about in 2013.
