Amsterdam (D)open - you won't believe this... But it's true!!
Only Club 8 can offer pool players the most politically incorrect 8-ball tournament the world has ever seen, and get away with it! The Amsterdam (D)open takes full advantage of the relaxed laws regarding marijuana usage in the Netherland's capital city, and actually requires participants to be as heavily "under the influence" as humanly possible.
I've been to this place. It's an amazing city - with fantastic people. It's a brilliant club - with superb equipment. It's a fabulous atmosphere - and the hospitality is second to none... It really is. And did I tell you? I love you man!
Haha... But seriously, this is an incredibly friendly and fun event, just as you'd imagine, especially when you consider the tournament entry fee includes a rather special "party package" - so if you enjoy pool and a "schmoke" make sure you attend this, and be comforted by the fact that there are no tournament reports or photos published - so the privacy of the players is protected from prying eyes. Now in it's fourth year of running - enjoy!
