The unique "one of a kind" Espiritu Cue.

Unique and easily recognisable Espiritu Cue stolen.

Martinho Correia, one of the Uk's top players, has had his cues stolen from his car on Friday 4th August following the IPT qualifying event at Victoria, London.

Not that anyone needs this but the timing simply couldn't be worse for Martin. He is on top of his game and with the IPT qualifying just around the corner, it's hardly the right time to lose the cues you have faithfully stuck to for four years. The theft looks a little more than strange as there were other valuables in the car that were not taken. The only items taken were the cues and case.

STOLEN CUE ALERT

The contents were as follows:

Brown 4x8 Buffalo soft case
Bear jump/break cue in blue stained maple, 1 shaft
1 of 1 Russ Espiritu Custom cue, 2 shafts.

The good thing is this Espiritu cue is completely unique and highly recognisable, it is one of a kind. Description as follows: Grey stained maple forearm with 6 long ebony points with ivory spear tips. Each point contains an ivory diamond. Black with white spec linen wrap. Ebony butt sleeve with 12 ivory diamonds. 6 of the diamonds contain red coral inlays. The butt cap is white delrin. Ebony and ivory checked ringwork with silver borders at 2 points in the butt sleeve and just above the wrap. Joint is 5/16-14 piloted stainless steel. Please see a photograph of the cue above.

I would ask all Pro9'ers (and all international readers) to be vigilant in the hunt for this cue. Please remember, this cue is part of Martin's livelihood, the cue earns him a living.

A reward is offered for the safe return of this cue, the other items are a bonus but the playing cue is of paramount importance.
