Souquet clear as race enters home straight
RALF SOUQUET'S unstoppable run of form has ensured his record-breaking 15th PartyPoker.net Mosconi Cup appearance, after winning the Hungarian Open at the weekend. "The Kaiser" followed up wins in the World Pool Masters and the World Cup of Pool in Manila last month with yet another victory which sees him move to second spot behind Chris Melling. These two are now untouchable and will be taking their place in the European line-up at the MGM Grand in December.
With just one event to go – the US Open – there is still a chance for the likes of Daryl Peach, Huidji See and even Mark Gray to come out the pack and claim a Mosconi spot. With 30 points going to the winner, 25 for the runner-up, 20 for a 3/4 place finish and 15 for coming 6-8th, a big performance in Chesapeake may well be enough.
Add to that the fact that Niels Feijen, currently in fifth spot, missed the Hungarian Euro Tour event after being struck by a car whilst out bike riding. However, the word is that "The Terminator" is on the road to recovery and looking to travel to the US Open.

Tickets are priced at $35 per day or $120 for the four day season passes and booking charges will apply.
