The First Bestsbet Cup International 9-Ball Invitation will start on 2nd October 2011 in Hefei City, Anhui Province, China, with the Champion earning a whopping RMB100,000!
Star Players are also the focus of this first invitational tournament, and they include Allison Fisher, Kelly Fisher, Mika Immonen, Francisco Bustamante, Penny Tsai, Chao Fong-Pang and Yang Ching-Shun.
From China, Chen Siming, Fu Xiaofang, Liu Shasha, Fu Jianbo, Liu Haitao, and Wu Chia-Ching are ready to meet the rest of the world. The boys from Hong Kong, Tan, Andrew, Bobby, as well as the East-Asian 9-Ball gold medalist Kenny Kwok are also up for the challenge.
The Best Bet Group has already indicated that events in Shanghai and Hong Kong are on the agenda for the next two stops under the Best Bet Group in the coming months.
An invitation is extended to all players from Europe and around the world for future events. Stage 1 (Bestsbet On Rich Cup) Open Group ♦ 128 players, 3 days of qualifiers, special arrangement for over 128 players. ♦ At least 4 players will be qualified into Stage 2 on the first day. ♦ Those who did not qualify can play again on the 2nd day. ♦ Those who still did not qualify can play again on the 3rd day. ♦ Single Knock-out, qualified players will receive prize monies and Trophies. ♦ Accommodation will be provided for players who qualified into Stage 2. Ladies ♦ 64 players, 3 days of qualifiers, special arrangement for over 64 players. ♦ At least 2 players will be qualified into Stage 2 on the first day. ♦ Those who did not qualify can play again on the 2nd day. ♦ Those who still did not qualify can play again on the 3rd day. ♦ Single Knock-out, qualified players will receive prize monies and Trophies. ♦ Accommodation will be provided for players who qualified into Stage 2. Conditions ♦ Registration for Stage 1 will be opened to all public. ♦ Any Nationality, Any Age. ♦ All Genders can be register for the Open Group. ♦ Limits: 128 players for Open Group, 64 Players for Ladies, special arrangement will be made if registration is over the limits. Registration and other Fees 1. US$100 (or RMB650) for Stage 1 registration. 2. There will be no table charges. Players 1. Players must follow all disciplinary rules stipulated herein. 2. Players must report to the reception 10 minutes before the appointed match time. If a player is late for his appointed match time, the player will be penalised 1 rack, and a further rack after 5 minutes, and a further rack (totally 3) after 10 minutes, and will be considered conceded after 15 minutes. 3. Any opposition to any decisions made by the referee must be raised before the next shot is being taken. Players also have the right to appeal for the decision. Any of such action taken after the next shot is made will not be entertained. 4. No smoking and shouting is allowed inside the venue. Players participating in a match will not be allowed to carry any cellular phones or electronic equipments. 5. All players must follow the Dress Code§. 6. Betting and excessive drinking are prohibited. 7. Players wearing decorations and sponsored badges must be pre-approved by the committee 2 weeks before the tournament commences. 8. All illegal and immoral activities are prohibited. 9. Players will be disqualified for violating any of the above. Dress Code ─ As stipulated in the WPA Regulations Open Group (Men) ♦ Invited Players ─ Designated clothing provided by the tournament. ♦ Regular collared shirts or polo shirts (tucked-in), dark trousers and dark leather-shoes.
