BWPPA PRESIDENT RESIGNS

Due to issues and circumstances with my work and personal life, I regrettably will be resigning as BWPPA President and GBPA Board member from the beginning of next year (Jan 2011).

I will be embarking on a new role with my current employer requiring a greater level of commitment and responsibility. This will not allow me to dedicate the required time to my activities with the BWPPA.

I do however intend to remain a full and active player on the tour and attend all events that my new position will allow.

It has been fantastic working with all of the BWPPA players, sponsors and volunteers seeing the organization grow into what I believe to be the best wheelchair tour on the planet.

It has also been an honour to have the tour connected with the biggest names in the American Pool Industry.

"Read More..." for the details.

The BWPPA tour is an organisation that really makes a difference giving the most talented wheelchair cueists in the UK a quality, well organized and well supported outlet to showcase their talents. We have proved the benefits of the tour with the results gained on the international stage as well as domestic events.

Roy Kimberley and Tony Southern will be stepping up to the roles of President and Secretary until permanent replacements are agreed by the players.

I would again like to thank all of the organizations and individuals who have supported the BWPPA over the last two years and hope this is only the beginning of bigger and brighter future for the wheelchair game in the UK.

Kindest regards

Matthew Gleaves
