8 Ball in Norway!
Players are being cordially invited to enter the exciting new event happening in Norway this summer... The inaugural edition of the Nordic 8-Ball Open is hoping to fill it's field with enthusiastic players, offering a variety of packages including multiple qualifying opportunities for the final 64 player main event.
Players can expect a very warm welcome, and other activities aside from the pool, including a fun "Tapas" banquet with complimentary drink and live music too - as well as free table play until the small hours.

Format:
4 qualification tournaments are played on Thursday and Friday, Single Elimination, 64 players each – A race to 6
Main event starts on Saturday, Double Elimination 64 players, Single Elimination from 16 and down – A race to 8

Live music! Free of charge playing on all tables until 1:30am
Transportation:
A shuttle (minibus) will according to a schedule go back and forth between the venue, Choice Quality Hotel and Biljardfabrikken (a second billiard room) in Oslo. The one payment will be valid throughout the whole event.
Twice per day, and according to a separate schedule, the shuttle will go to Oslo Airport Gardermoen. Schedules will be advertised at the billiard rooms as well as in the hotel(s)

Referees:
The players themselves will act as referees during preliminary rounds. Semifinals and the final will be refereed by members of the BPS Carambole Club.
