Milliken is chosen for German Open
Milliken’s growing presence in Germany was highlighted this month when the billiard cloth manufacturer partnered the Deutsche Billard Union (DBU) and Busch Billards at the German 10-ball pool open in Munich. UK-based Milliken put up a large slice of the 30,000 euro prize money, with 3,000 going to winner Nico Ottermann. Hosted by Karo club owner Karl Langwieder and attracting over 160 entries, the event was played on 9 ft tables featuring Milliken SuperPro cloth.

Both Ottermann and Roschkowsky won spots in the WPA World Ten Ball Championships to be held in the Philippines at the end of November 2009, and quite tightly so as they overcame a formidable field of approximately 130 players including the German all-star trio of Souquet, Ortmann & Reimering, and various internationals featuring such well known names as Mario He and Sandor Tot.
