I have always wondered why if the GB9 tour is a genuine Great British 9 Ball Tour then why are there no events whatsoever played in Scotland? Should it therefore not be renamed the English 9 ball tour?

Asked this question years ago and I believe the chain they had the deal with (Barcelo at the time) didn't have any hotels in Scotland with a room big enough to take the tables.
They were actively looking for one as I think we had about 10-15 of us playing from Scotland.
Now it is a bit different as the tour doesn't tour so to speak with all events played out of Telford.

Does anyone know if there's plans to play 10 ball at event 4 or 5?

No, event 3 is normally a 10-ball event on GB9 but as this event is now replaced with the UK Open Mosconi Cup ranked event we have had to keep it as 9-ball.
