back at hotel.. very dissapointed to say the least

played pretty good upto 6-6.. really could have been 7-5 up

7-6 down i probably missed easiet ball ive ever missed in my life just completly forgot about the pot which ultimatly cost me the match in affect as he broke ran to go 9-6 up.. then i missed again and that was that.. very angry with myself had my chances and didnt take them ,but more annoyed that my focus wasnt the best ..but got to pick myself up for tmrw ...

watched raj hundal v chris melling was pretty poor match for there standard chris was up 9-5 and somehow lost 11-9 well done raj

daryl was far from his best as was steve from what i seen ,but daryl got the win and will play raj tmrw be interesting match up ...

phil wins his next 2 matches he will play chris melling...

hoepfully the rest of us will do the business on the losers side....

bed for me

Hi, unfortunately was a bad day for the Brits. We all lost apart from Daryl who played Raj . I won 3 matches on the losers side and then lost to Kiamco of the Philipinnes.I ran 4 out the gate and then had a funny scratch which should never happen on an American pool table. The tables turned from then on and in the end i lost 11-8 The rails were playing very dry and the cue ball seemed to check up alot when it should go long. Darren lost to Donny Mills from the US and so did Raj. Chris lost to Ernesto Dominguez who played well from 6-6. We still have Daryl in the mix who plays Johnny Archer tomorrow.
However it was an enjoyable event to play in and the crowd were fantastic. Was funny watching Earl with arm pads, a hockey glove, weights in his legs and his new implementation big headphones just like a DJ's.He lost a hill hill match with Corey Duel missed a fairly simple carom on the 9 to win and banged his cue on the ground, surprised the shaft didnt break, but thats nothing new. The guys not well and needs help Lol.
So the line up for tomorrow is:

Bustamante v Alcano
Parica v Immonnen
Morris v Hohmann
Archer v Peach

Big matches for the Europeans who are not only playing for the US Open title but if won of them wins it they could be selected for this years Mosconi Cup aswell.

Speak to you soon The Maharaja.

just got back myself

little dissapointed was up 6-2 playing solid.. then stuff happened he must have missed 6 balls and everytime he got lucky never left me a open shot.. 11-9 way it goes but didnt play my A game all week .. been a strange week with all distractions million questions a day ..mainly have i been paid yet for world 10ball in the end it plays on your mind and start to doubt if will get paid even though deep down am pretty sure i will along with rest of players..but couldnt enjoy the event the way i would have liked... but no excuse for losing thats 9ball at this level anything can happen and got to take the rough with the smooth..

on the bright side i done ok last 2 events with no preparation really :-(.. and these events coming so soon after world 10ball championships, euro tour then straight from euro tour to us open been a mad month to say the least for myself but it not been a bad month hey lol,

looking forward to a rest now and recharge the batteries and come back stronger for last 2 months of the year...and hopefully end the year on a high by getting picked for mosconi cup team and euope winning ....but i know other players in with chance too..

just like to say that the british lads have been great this week

along with the good crowds here

daryl the last brit standing so best of luck to him for rest of tourny...

dyno :-)

also watched imran play against kiamco he played good but like he said no luck and few crazy scratches especially last rack when made a good 9ball.. and was very unlucky to lose to busta on winners side..

and melling just run out of steam really against oscar dominguez was up 4-0 then made few unexpected mistakes and like jim said from 6-6 the kid played good..

think raj was still hurt from the daryl match didnt see any of the game but got told he got lot of bad luck.. and think he played poor from what i see against donnie mills... watched lot of matches tonight in the stands and some really crazy things happening good and bad ..and outragous luck great to watch from a neutrals point of view..

strickland was on form with his head gear bikers gloves ,ankle weights ...cracks me up...

Darren and Imran: Who do you think is playing best now? Mika seems strong. Who do you think will win?

My pick would be Alcano
