Nice to meet you.

If you order a Predator Second Skin Glove from The Pro Shop today, before 3pm, it will be delivered tomorrow, anywhere in the UK. We use the Royal Mail First Class post service for small items like this, and this means all small items sent by UK post is delivered next day.

For delivery to Poland, we use standard International Air Mail service - there is no tracking with this service, but it is reasonably fast, and it is cheap for us to use this service, and delivery to ALL of Europe is FREE from The Pro Shop on all small items like this (and cues too!)... So there is no extra charge for you.

We use secure, tracked courier services for expensive items like cue etc, but this too, is delivered FREE in all of Europe from The Pro Shop - there's no minimum order either - just honest free delivery for everyone.

We DO need to charge extra for heavy items like balls and cue cases, and in these circumstances it is often a better option for you to buy large items like cloth and tables locally too... But for everything else, we deliver to all of Europe 100% FREE!!!

It's exactly the same price, wherever you are in Europe, whether it's a cue, or a glove, or a tool, a piece of chalk, or a single cue tip... It's FREE! The price you see listed is the price you pay - no last minute additions to your charge, and whilst that may make some items look less competitively priced, I believe it to be a very fair way to show prices, and it's how I like to be treated when I shop. I hate it when at the end of the payment process and a massive shipping fee calculation gets added to the bill.

NO MINIMUM ORDER

We have never imposed a minimum order - like free shipping if you order over 150€ isn't full free shipping... Whilst it's always great if someone adds up a giant basket of items, if you just want a single item, that's absolutely fine with us - we'll soak up the cost this time because we know maybe next time you'll buy a cue from us.

FAIR AND TRANSPARENT

I've always tried to be fair and show the full price of everything right from the start - I try to give full and useful product descriptions, and I've always been happy that I manage to get really good, big, close up photos of the products because I understand there's a bit of a leap of faith when you are buying online - you can't touch what your buying before you pay, so I need to give you the best view of it as possible.

In summary...

No one gets everything right, and some things could be better with the site, but I do my best with the limited talent I have, and I think people appreciate where I'm coming from, and I'd like to take this moment to thank everyone who has supported The Pro Shop with their purchases over the years, and I hope to support you for many more years to come.

Unfortunately there's no showroom, we're strictly an online affair - it keeps costs down, making savings that we can pass on to our customers, which is good news and everyone seems to appreciate that.

I know what you mean though... In the past we would never buy a cue without trying it, especially as each one would most likely have an individual feel - however that's not the case with new American style cues. The manufacturers now splice the shafts, and lately have introduced carbon shafts, engineering out the unique qualities of individual cues, so if you've tried one Predator Ikon cue (for instance) you can rest assured that all Ikon cues will play the same, bearing in mind that you can adjust the weight and tip to your preference.

So what does this mean? Well, it means I always advise customers to try as many cues as they can, wherever they can = most people at your local club will be willing to let you have a quick "knock" with their cue if you explain the situation and ask nicely. The same goes for fellow competitors at local tournaments - and once you find something you like the feel of, have a look at the entire range in The Pro Shop and choose one that you like.

I know it seems quite a leap of faith, but this is the way people shop nowadays, and the cues are very well made, with tried and tested designs, and perform flawlessly, so it's just about getting some table time to get used to your new cue and start playing.

Thanks very much for your message regarding Radial Joint break cue shafts.

Unfortunately, I have to tell you that this is a very common enquiry, but unfortunately I have bad news for you...

Most manufacturers do NOT sell their break cue shafts separately!

They all want you to buy the full cue I think, so your choice is really limited, and for a Radial Joint type, even more limited. Here's the only two options we currently have available...

1. OB Speed Break - SBSRD+ Shaft Radial 13.25mm Black Collar White Ferrule
    - 13.25 mm white linen melamine ferrule.
    - Hard phenolic tip designed for maximum cue ball speed on the break.
    - Hard rock maple spliced.
    - Thick carbon fibre tip pad.

2. OB Control Break - CBS Shaft 29" Radial 13.00mm Black Collar
    - 13.00 mm laminated maple ferrule
    - Leather Samsara tip designed for maximum accuracy on the break
    - Hard rock maple spliced and then cored
    - Low Deflection
    - Thick carbon fibre tip pad.

I also have lots and lots of other Radial Shafts available - and I could pre-fit any break cue tip you wish on any of these regular radial shafts...
