Arena Billiards will be hosting its first 10 Ball tournament on Saturday 30th April. Doors open at 10.00am with play starting at 10.30am. It will be £25 entry fee to be paid in advance by Monday 25th April at the latest. Limited to 32 entries maximum.
The format for the day will be double elimination up to the quarter final stage with a full field of 32 (four from the winners side and four from the losers side). If we have less numbers than this, then this will be amended to the double elimination to the semi finals or just double elimination all the way depending on the final number of entrants but you will be kept updated.
It will be a race to 8 on winners side and a race to 6 on the losers side and there will be no handicaps. It will be winner breaks through out. It will be a race to 9 in the knockout stages and 9 or 11 in the final depending on time.
All entry fees need to be paid by Monday 25th April (this will confirm your entry) and there will be strictly no pay on the day. If you have not paid up by this date you will be moved to the reserve list and these spots will be then offered out in order to those on reserve list or on first paid basis if no reserve list. You can pay in the following ways. Direct to Keith or via PayPal using the below email address making sure you use the friends and family option. For those local to the club you can pop it an envelope with you name on and saying it's for Keith and hand it in at the bar at Arena.
The draw will be completed on Wednesday/Thursday. There will be no refunds after Monday's payment deadline if you pull out after this point. You will be contacted with you start time after the draw is complete, so please make sure you are at the club in plenty of time if you are in the 10.30 time slot as we need to start on time.
