Saturday April 18th 2015, 11am start
Stephen Hendrys Pool & Snooker Club, 275 Brook St, Preston

- 8 players max
- £25 entry (£15 for juniors and ladies)
- Payment in advance (pay me or at the bar)
- Registration restricted to Hendrys club members till March 28th, then open to anyone
- all entry money paid out in prize money
- Payouts: winner 50%, runner-up 30%, 3rd 20% (£100/£60/£40 if full field at full entry fee)

Format:
- Group stage then single knockout (everyone plays at least 15 racks of pool)
- 2 groups of 4, round robin races to 5; 1 point per rack won; top two go into semi-final
- Semis and final race to 9 (may be reduced slightly, depending on time)
- Alternate break
- No 3 point rule
- Rack 'em high (9 on the spot)

Thanks everyone for turning out.

Andy Walker won, beating Andy Harwood 9-3 in the final. Gaz Iddon third, beating Ivan Taylor 9-6.

Turns out I was over cautious on match lengths. We had 8 quick players and with hindsight I could easily have made the group stage races to 7 instead of 5.
