There are a limited number of match ball sets available so if you have a set and don't mind them being used for the day then bring them along.

Thanks.

Thanks to all those players who travelled to compete in this GB9 qualify. A quality field with some faces from the past battling it out with the new for paid entry and accommodation into the final GB9 event of the season.

Semi Final #1
Local young gun Andy Carter vs recent T9B winner Ashik Nathwani. Neck and neck until 5-5 when Ashik's recent form showed through and his space in the hot seat was sealed.

        Andy 5 vs 9 Ashik

Semi Final #2
With his speed second to only Tony Drago, Tony Fry made short work of his match with Jon Steele to guarantee his spot in the final.

        Tony 8 vs 2 Jon

Final
Looked to be going to the wire until a missed 9 from Tony at 6-6 gave Ashik the lead. Ashik took the next rack to reach the hill first but looked to stumble and lost control of the table giving Tony an easy run out. However, perhaps with the missed 9 still on his mind, Tony missed the 9 again and handed final victory to Ashik.

        Ashik 9 vs 6 Tony

Well done Ashik, see you at next GB9 event.
