 Merseyside 9 Ball Christmas Handicap ** SUNDAY ** 29th December 2013, 12 noon draw, 12:15 start of play. Venue: Rileys Liverpool Grand Central Bolton Street Liverpool L3 5LX 0151 7078349 In between Lime St Station and the Adelphi Hotel Car park next to venue is £10 all day, shuts at 7 on a Saturday, 4 on a Sunday. Entry fee £10. (£5 for under 18's) 1st. £110 based on 32 entries paying £10. 2nd. £60 based on 32 entries paying £10. Semi. £40 based on 32 entries paying £10. Q-F. £15 based on 32 entries paying £10. Plate event if enough time and interest £5 entry The format is to be Double Elimination no matter how many enter. Plate is knockout Alternate breaks * 1 on the spot * 2 at the back, 7/8 behind 1 * Golden Breaks count * No 3 point rule. All matches race to 7 (plate race to 5) Registration 11:45, draw 12 noon, Prompt start 12:15 Please note this will be a 1 Day Event If you want to play in this event then either post your full name on the forum, or on Facebook, PM me or you call/txt me on 07736551771. You can pay the £10 entry fee at the club or via paypal to tonysouthern@msn.com choose pay as a gift to avoid paypal charges as follows: log into paypal add email of recipient there is a tab where it says is this a payment for goods, ebay transaction, next to that tab is a tab to send as gift send as gift. Justin please! Although can't guarantee how prepared I'll be that time of season haha! Nice to see Adam on -2 as he beat me in a semifinal yet again last week! Can we not make him -6 hahaha?! Looks forwards to 29th, have a great Xmas all

Well done to the two James' and especially to Bray on winning! Unlucky to the two losing SF players but it looks like the four best players on the day got the dough!

Congrats to James for making the final. He and Jamie Murray have been travelling down from Scotland to support events in Liverpool, Solihull & St Albans in recent months. Top lads too.

Well done Jay, good win lad. And yes, the Scottish lads are good guys and deserve success for all that travelling they do to support these events, even if James did beat me in the semis grrrrr haha! Another good event with good players and good guys, cya next time
