Winner gets entry into 1 GB 9 event in 2013 plus 2 nights in hotel. Choose the GB 9 event in Telford from 30 November - 1 December, or the GB9 UK 9-Ball Open 2 - 3 December (same venue) , other places and prize money depends on number of entrants

You can of course enter 1 as the prize winner and pay for the other event (GB9 Hotel rules apply)

This is all money up front, we need 13 entrants to cover costs of sending winner, if we do not get 13, I need to know when you reply if you would be willing to pay a bit more to make sure we get at least £250 in entry fees.

The more we get the more chance we have of having more free entries or cash prizes, if we get 19 we can give free entry to the runner up, they also do not have to stay in the venue hotel (this does not apply to the winner), if we get 26 we can send both finalists.

The format is to be Double Elimination no matter how many enter.

Thanks for all the messages since I posted my fundraising message on Facebook anyone wants to donate but does not like using paypal, and would rather do it via bank transfer or cheque, then please message me for details.

Please give a £1 or more to help me to get to South Africa !!

If I get enough I will get a polo shirt made for the world championship with the name of everyone who donates it on it, then when i'm back I'll do a random number draw and send the shirt to the winner (washed of course !!)

If anyone has done personal fundraising before (non-charity), if there any site you can use to collect money, as most are charity based only.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE
Just received the great news below, that I have been nominated to take part at the World 9-Ball Championship for Wheelchair Players in Johannesburg in December, which I will be accepting this week, and looking forward to.

Although the hotel is free for all players, we have to pay for our own flights, and to get there, is around £600 (1 stop and a 15hr trip, so a lot for a 4 day event).

If anyone wants to sponsor me for this event, either as an individual (no amount too small, even a £1 will help) or a company please see my sponsorship page of my site for details, if all of my friends on facebook sponsored me for £1 each then the flight would be sorted, and each of your names will get a mention and thank you on here and on my site, tonysouthern.com
Ta
Tony

Hi Tony,

Once again thanks for an awesome day's pool, there were some awesome players there and I am happy to have got to the Semis amongst such talent. When I saw Adam Shaw there I was happy to see him after such a while, but also a bit scared as I know how ruthless he is! And what d'ya know he beats me in the Semis haha!

Great to see you all and play against great players to improve my game, nice guys too. It's amazing what not drinking can do too, I must try this more often hahaha!

See y'all next month :)
