@ sinnerro If you don't mind a bit of a walk what I usually do when I head into town is park up at Thurston Snooker. The address is: 46-48 St Anne Street, Liverpool, Merseyside, L3 3DW I've never had an issue with parking and if you can't get a parking bay in front of the shop you can always find plenty of parking at the rear. You don't have to worry about double yellow lines and avoid parking charges! The walk is 0.6 miles which is nothing...

tigger147 i don't mind paying extra £10 pounds. Just the problem is when you have to buy another ticket when you have got match ball in semis like MAREK last time LOL. Propably it wont happen to me but free car park would be peace of mind PH Thanks Phil I will try to find this place and get directions to Rileys. If we are not @ 12 noon then we are lost BTW Andy Marek and Michal in please tony [ This message was edited by: sinnerro on 2013-05-17 07:52 ]

@ sinnerro
It's really easy and you'll have no problems. From Thurston you're basically walking down the one road for the majority and it's just a single right turn to get to the club. Use the AA Route Planner to see for yourself!

I'd say that I'm unsure at the moment regarding the GB9 qualifier. I've been pretty down in the dumps and haven't played much since the last MH and even this will be a test to see if I can create any desire and will to win!

Phil, your always down in the dumps, you should be called stig !! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stig_of_the_DumpJust come and play and enjoy your pool, if you win great, if not just forget about it, we can't all be an appleton or souquet, just be the best player you can be.

Success to me in pool is playing well and enjoying myself, I couldn't care less if I win. Also, I'm finding it hard to motivate myself to practice for one competition a month!

Tony Southern welcomes you all to the three week month! Classic! The issue comes when you have that 2 week break and come back and your cue action is destroyed...

As far as I'm concerned the physical game is muscle memory. If you don't play enough to stay sharp and maintain your skills you need great natural ability if you're to expect to play your best at will. I DON'T have the luxury of natural ability. I also DON'T play Snooker on a Pool table. If you stick to the middle of the white all the time and that gives you an erection then lucky you but spin is the game for me and the only draw to play ANY cuesport.
