Entry fee £10.

1st. £110 based on 32 entries.
2nd. £60 based on 32 entries.
Semi. £40 based on 32 entries.
Q-F. £15 based on 32 entries.

£10 into plate, plus £2 per player in plate
Based on 32 entrants Total pot =£320 (pot based on all paying £10)

The format is to be Double Elimination to quarters/Groups if under 16 entries.

Alternate breaks

* 9 on the spot
* 2 at the back
* Golden Breaks count
* No 3 point rule.

All matches race to 7

Registration 12 noon, Prompt start 12.30

No Dresscode for this event

Have they got any of the match tables from wavertree?

Me and Joe in please Tony, I'll come round for my stuff one night after work mate.

No Adam, they have all been dismantled and where would they put them they would have to swap in and out, not an expense they can do, tables were reclothed in January, look ok

So long as that ghost from Wavertree doesn't follow us over to Grand Central and make the ball roll off on key short rail to short rail safety shots and cost racks I'll be happy...

I'm sure that Tony will put up a nice write up later but the final was contested between himself and Kevin Porter with the latter coming out the winner! It was a fun and interesting day of Pool...

Kevin Porter won the event beating me 7-5 in the final.

In the semis Kevin beat Michal Mozdzierz who moneyed for the first time 7-3, and in the other semi, I came from 6-2 down to beat Phil Hughes 7-6.

Next event will be Saturday 15th June and will be double elimination as group events are taking too long.

I second this opinion. I have a couple of ideas that could improve the competition also but I'm too tired to mention them now. I'll send you a PM at some point tomorrow...
