Total9Ball

Well what a fantastic series this has been so far and its not over yet here is the BIG ONE... The Grand Finals held at St Albans Hurricane Room on Saturday 1st December.
This event is invitation only open to the top 16 players on the T9B Amateur Series Rankings (if players are tied on points the Grand Final place is given to the player who has attended most events)

Entry fee is £40/£45/£50 depending on standard

Money collected throughout the series will be added to the prize pool meaning the total prize pool will be over £1000 not bad for a 16 player comp hey.

The Grand Finals will begin at 12 noon on Saturday 1st December.

Qualified players (entry needs to be paid by Fri 24th Nov)

Hi Rich, you are joint 16th with Paul Taylor and Micheal Rhodes but the ruling is as Paul Taylor has played most events and therefore contributed most the the Grand Final prize fund he is offered the 16th place.

It has always been the ruling, Attendance is the key same as the last series. it certainly doesnt go on alphabetical order. Your welcome to attend the qualifier tho?

I see your point Rich but rules are rules and I cant put in ahead of Micheal as you have both attended the same amount of events. Qualifier is the fairest way

No the qualifier is max 16 player entry but put your name down if your the only player on the list you will get a spot if it becomes available

but surely that is (based on your theory) unfair on me and rhodes? seen as we finished in a tie for 16th should we not play off for the first spot?

So if someone doesn't wanna play in finals is it a 16 man field for one spot?u told me I was in anyway.is the finals double chance?is the qualifiers double chance?I agree with rich tho if 2 are tied at 16th it should be a straight playoff for that spot if someone drops out or both in if 2 drop out.

the qualifier will be single KO comp for however many spots are available on the morning of The Grand Finals. I thought you had made it as didn't think you wouldn't win a game at the weekend. I do see what your saying but as I didn't state that as a rule at the start I can't really do it. 16 player KO it maybe for a few spots or there may not be a spot at all won't no until Fri

you didn't state anything anywhere so what does it matter? tbh i think the fact that Paul attended more events is a ridiculous way to settle a tie break (however i prob didnt have the strongest stats) win % or something else should have been used, i certainly think when a player tied for 16th they should be 1st/2md reserve

Guys I know your disappointed and yes i should of stated it in writting, I did announce it at event one when i told all players how ranking points are scored. I have stated before almost every event 'its the top 16 only and for all players to play as many events as possible as its strictly the top 16' Your both welcome to attend the qualifier... case closed.

well if your letting people qualify then its not the top 16 only? its whoever can make it from the top 16 plus a wildcard
