No Matt all events are open. There are advantages to joining such as it is cheaper if playing all 5 events and you also benefit from event seeding.

Think the committee has done great in getting these top players to sign up.
However, my opinion is the tour had to attract itself to more amateur players to increase numbers and not sure this is the best way to do so. The tour is very hard as it is and this will make it harder.
Understand its great to play these guys but its an expensive price to pay for it.
Not a dig just my opinion and probably in the minority

Applications for membership has been tremendous but a few people have asked if they can delay paying their deposits due to the expense of Christmas and New Year. Therefore we have decided to extend the deadline for applications, and payment of deposits, until 22 JANUARY - This is also the deadline for entries to tour event 1. If you want to become a full member then fill in the Application FormDon't forget that you don't have to join the tour if you just want to play a few of the events.
