We are now welcoming entries to Rileys Sunderland's first (for MANY years!) 9 Ball Tournament on Sunday 4th November. We'll be using the 12-5 handicap system for this competition, players race to their handicaps. The best players in the tournament will always race to 12 so handicaps are subject to change based on quality of the field. We're hoping that this is going to mark a turning point for tournaments in the north following the success of the tournament at Vegas Bar on 14th October. Venue is Rileys Sunderland 30-32 John Street Sunderland Tyne & Wear SR1 1JG 12PM Start £20 Entry Race to your handicap Double Elimination Half Price entry for ladies and under 16's All entry fees paid out Either enter though the thread or text me on 07826830999. Just going by you and all the other 2's being an 11 at the last comp! Where's the logic? Lol so if the big boys come then players like me get one less start from players of your ability? Doesn't matter who comes! That shouldn't determine what handicap the others are on... [ This message was edited by: WaterBean on 2012-10-18 11:20 ]

Ermmm, melling was at the last one? He was the 12 fool hahaha. Best players are always 12s thats how it usually works.
Martin btw, Craig was a 9 at my comp. Look on my list for any names you may need

Yeah but originally you were a 12, if you drop from a 12 to 11 because Melling is playing then surely everybody should drop down one just saying fool.

That's my point doc, the 11s from the last comp were officially 12's until Melling entered then they went to 11. Mark, it's 3 to 12 not 3 to 9

But in the original 12-5 handicap list,Arfan, myself,Ben,Matt etc were 10 or 11s and melling etc were 12s,Chris should also be a 12 after winning off that mark,he's proving he can handle that mark due to him playing to that standard, same as anyone else winning a tourney, move up a peg

If we manage to fill it we will do a quick review of the handicaps beforehand to ensure they are as fair as possible. We don't want anyone too high or too low. PM Martin if you think someone is out of line and we'll look at it.
Cheers
