Total9ball are proud to announce the new Amateur series dates and format. The amateur series is now in its third season, this time it will be run slightly different with the league stages removed and the double chance format used. T9B double chance events seem to be the most popular format we use, we believe the reason behind this is because it offers unbeatable value, players are entered into the draw twice which means players can lose a match but still be the overall winner, it guarantees each player 2 tense knock-out matches and also means each entrance has the opportunity to get in the prize money twice. Feedback regarding these event has always been fantastic and therefore we feel using this format is the way to get the most players involved. The Series will begin on 18th August 2012 and will consist of two 9ball double chance events, two 10ball double chance events and a Grand Final which will have 9ball and 10ball incorporated. Each event will be held at St Albans Hurricane Room with matches beginning at 10.00am. Event 4 – 10ball - 17th November Grand Final - 9,10ball - 1st December Max entry – 32 players double chance Entry Fees - £40 for -3 and -2 players £35 for -1, 0 players £30 for +1 players an extra £7 will be added to entry fee for pay on the day. ***HANDICAPS*** Platinum Players -3 Gold Players -2 Silver Players -1 Bronze - 0, +1 ***Ranking Points*** 1 point per match won and 5 points for attendance Top 16 players auto qualify for Grand Finals with seeding system used one half and random draw the other half. Prize money will begin at the Quarter Final stage and will be announced once entry numbers are known. This comp has truly unbeatable value. Remember... IF YOU ENTER TWICE YOU CAN GET INTO THE PRIZE MONEY TWICE!! All Matches will be Straight Knock-out Races to - 7 plus Handicaps Breaking - Alternate, 3 point Rule, Golden Breaks allowed We advise you don’t delay your entry as previous events have filled in under 6 hours!!!!! ******DATE CHANGED TO 17TH NOVEMBER******** **Entries** EVENT 4 IS A 10 BALL EVENT 1 Phil Wildman (PAID) (9Ball) 2 Mark Parker (PAID) 3 Wayne Rooke (PAID) 4 Jonathan Vaughan 5 Micheal Rhodes 6 Ramesh Gokhul (PAID) 7 John Egan 8 Mario Koroschitz 9 Dave Mccarthy (10Ball) 10 Paul Mcmichael 11 Jaspal Bamotra 12 Shakz Islam 13 Gary Bullocke (PAID) (9Ball) 14 Oly Bale (PAID) (10Ball) 15 Kev Kelleher 16 Mikko Tuomi 17 Greg Jansz 18 Lionel Brown 19 Franck Speeg (PAID) 20 Courtney Symons 21 Darren Saxby 22 Paul Summerfield 23 Gareth Esprit 24 Mark Hughes 25 26 27 28 29 30 31 32 Reserves 1 2 3 [ This message was edited by: wildman147 on 2012-11-16 09:02 ]

There are 5 points available just for attending event 4 those points alone could be enough to boost a player into a Grand Final spots. Players that are already guarenteed a Grand Final place will want to finish as well as possible for a higher seeding in one half of the Grand Finals draw. Enter now places still available in this 10ball event. [ This message was edited by: wildman147 on 2012-10-22 07:24 ]

This event is being moved to the 17th November, Im sorry for any incovientients caused. I hope all entries on the list can still attend and that we also get more players as im aware the 3rd of Nov was a bad date for many players.
So Event 4 will be held on the 17th November and the Grand Finals will remain on the 1st December
